Default Miles per tank full? I have an 03 EX 4wd

I am looking to see what kind of miles per tank full you all are getting on your older model pilots?

I just bought an 03 EX 4wd with 120K on it and was wondering how many miles you can get out of a tank of gas on your Pilot?

My best ever on my 03 element EX 4wd was 430 on one tank approx 16.5 gallons.

Just trying to see what people are getting on a tank full?

The furthest I've gone on one tank of gas is 341 miles on 13.63 gallons, leaving roughly 5.5 gallons of fuel left in the tank. If you ask me though, this isn't a realistic way to look at how well your fuel consumption is going to be in a 2003 Pilot. These are just "best" case scenarios.

I only really track miles covered on my long road trips (960miles).
First tank of the day takes me over 400, but I trickle an extra two plus gallons into the tank after it shuts off. Very valuable extra miles before the first stop of the day.
After that I generally go 360 miles plus or minus 20 depending on family bladders or distance between gas stations.

How about this, when the fuel light goes on, how many miles can you go?

Because on my Honda element, I can go approx 80 miles.

I honestly don't know, I've never let any of my cars get to that point. I fill up after I hit 1/4 of a tank.

Once the fuel shut off on the pump kicks in, there is actually enough space for more fuel. However it its not recommended, and I only do it when I'm immediately hitting the interstate.

Low fuel light: When I got the Pilot, I'd always run until it came on. Longest distance traveled around 50 miles with it on.

Its actually on right now....so I guess its time to check gas buddy for the cheapest gas and go fill er up.

On my '04, once the light comes on, I have approx 3 gallons left until empty. Owner's manual says our 03,04 Pilots have about 19.3 gallon tanks. A couple of times I was able to hit a gas stations immediately when the light came on.

Filled up with 16 gallons, that tells me there was about 3 gallons left.

Now, my Pilot only gets around 14-15 mpg city, so 40-45 miles more once the light comes on till I'm sucking fumes.

I have a 2004. My Average is about 400 Kilometres on a tankful. That is 80% urban driving.

Small tank and not great gas mileage = lots of visits to Gas Station

I've traveled 341 miles on 13 gallons, which leaves roughly 6 gallons left in the tank. So, I would say that I also have gone 400+ miles on one tank, but it all depends on the right conditions.

Default Best Gas Mileage on my 06 EX

On my 06 EX 4WD with 89,000 miles, I recently got 431 miles out of a tank. I averaged the MPG to 23.1 MPG. I drive the speed limit and turn off the cruise when going up large hills. This reduces the amount of time the transmission stays in passing gear.

Underdog states 400KM/tank not 400 miles/tank.

Yes, Underdog's is in KM/Tank, but Rocky's is in miles.
