Hi, I just bought a used 2008 Honda Pilot SE with 25800miles on it.

I understand that it is still under warranty but I could not find out the exact date when it expires (as the 36k mile limit is not going to happen with in the time limit). Could somebody direct me where to find it.

Also, should I take it to a mechanic or a dealer to do some kind of inspection and see if anything needed replacement/work on the car, before the warranty expires? I bought it from a dealer.

Finally, I bought 4yr/80k extended warranty on this car. I was wondering how different is this extended warranty compared to the original 3yr/36k? And, if I really need to hurry up and make the visit to the dealer/mechanic I mentioned above?

Apart from that, I am really enjoying the ride. Its WONDERFUL

I'm a little uncomfortable that you don't actually know what kind of extended warranty you bought.
I'm no fan of extended warranties. That said, I hope the one you got was a Honda warranty not something the dealer put together.

At worst the warranty you got (you may be able to back out of it if you are quick) adds one year and 44k to the 3 /36k warranty you already have from Honda.

I am double confirming, but I believe it is the Honda warranty and they said it covers everything except the tires,glass, etc. (I am still waiting to get the complete fine print).

So, why do you say the extended warranty is not preferable? Is it because, Honda's dont give much trouble?

In any case, are you saying that it doesn't matter if I do the inspection before the 3yr vs extended warranty?
