Default Newer Pilot Question

We had 2 Pilots from 2002-2008 and really liked them. Then our third baby arrived and we went to an Odyssey. Now we are ready to ditch the minivan and go back to an SUV. Are the newly designed Pilots any more comfortable in the second row than the older ones were? I am concerned about long trips b/c I remember the second row not being comfortable at all. Any other big changes since they re-designed it? Thanks!

They're certainly more spacious inside, wider especially. Whether the seats themselves are more comfortable I couldn't tell you having not lived with a first generation Pilot. The 2nd gen does have a reclining middle row which certainly improves things. Never going to be a cushy as the captains chairs in the 2nd row of an Odyssey though. :-)
