I am looking for a rim to use as a full size spare with one of my old tires. I have a 2007 EX.
Will the steel rim from a 2003 work, I'm not worried about TPMS since it is a spare. Part number 42700-S9V-A02 from the dealer. |

No, it will not. The lug nuts are different for the steel wheel versus the alloy wheels.
Alloy wheels use a domed lugnut seat surface, steel wheels use a conical lugnut seat surface. If you buy a set of conical lugnuts to use with the steel wheel and kept them with the jack, then you'd be fine to use a steel wheel. The thread pitch is the same for all Pilots. |
