Has anyone installed a Car Top Tent on their Honda Pilot (example http://autohomeus.com/rooftop/maggiolina.php

and so would they please give us their comment on it.

I think you can safely assume, no one here has spent 3k on a tent to put on top of their car lol

That's a lot of weight for the roof and rack to handle. The Pilot in my opinion is not designed to handle that utilitarian use. That being said, if you have the engineering know how I bet it could be done.
I know some intense off-road friends that can make just about anything work.

Awesome product but how does it mount? The factory roof rails only support 100-150 pounds. It must include some method by which the force is distributed over more of the roof. The Pilot has no rain gutters to attach to like in the older vehicles. Probably have to install rails that rest directly on on the roof panel or requires drilling into the roof. As long as it will support all the anticipated weight then I am all for it.
