I wish they would do that... but rarely, ever do they take back a car and give you a new one. That's because once a car is registered, it's considered used. They can't UN-register a car. They will insist on repairing it under warranty for you... and legally, that's all they are required to do unless it's so bad that you can lemon law it.

I know how you feel... I had it much worse... dealer installed an aftermarket alarm in all their cars on the lot. When you buy a car there, you can opt out of the alarm and then they take it off... HOWEVER, they splice into your factory harnesses to install the alarm, and when they remove it, they leave a much of connectors or splice points in the wiring. They accidentally left an uninsulated wire in my harness which shorted out some fuses causing my vehicle to not have brake lights and unable to get out of park. Even after that... they refuse to give me a new car OR replace my wiring saying no harm is done to the wiring. UGH! Seeing this post brings back BAD memories!

You can demand that they give you another one. However, it is unlikely they will. If they can't fix it in a reasonable number of attempts or time frame, you can persue a lemon law claim. However, according to the latest JD Power initial quality survey results, 95% (95 probs per 100 vehicles) of Honda's have one problem in the first 3 months. So, you are likely to get one that also needs something fixed.
