Default [Repairs done - photos inside] - Body work help!

I have a few body work / paint job fixes that I need on the rear bumper - some plastic damage and paint chips

Question - can the plastic be cured or put back in shape ? Is is one unit all the way around the whole bumper ?

any help will be appreciated

the bumper cover can be sanded and spot painted, the lower gray trim might be able to be popped back out and if so, you could try to match the gray paint. i believe it is one whole piece all the way around.

Yes, you can paint that plastc trim as I have done on my 05 Pilot. Clean with Silicone and Wax remover only, not anything else or will not work right. Use Duplicolor Adhesion Promotor first and then Duplicolor Bumper Coating. These can be found at Autozone or Pep Boys. However, grey may be hard to find, might have to order it. Black is easiest to find in stores. Some guys use Krylon Fusion paint with good results, too. SEM and other commercial quality paint manufacturers also make plastic bumper/trim paint in aerosol cans but you would have to go to an automotive paint supply store to find that.

He used a hot air gun, sand paper, buffed, painted and used the heat to melt part of the plastic to re-bond with itself. 1 hour, $50. I'm very happy!
