Hello members
I have use the search feature for tires and found noting on this so I need some advice, I want to replace the standard 235/70-16 size tires and need some help in determining how wide not height of a tires I can purchase for my 06 Pilot. EX and still use the standard oem 16” rims without any problems, I just like the look of a wider tire, Any information pros or cons would be appreciated Thank You

Wider will get you less MPG, worse hydroplaning and worse deep snow traction.
Tirerack gives good advice.

limit yourself to 245/70-16 due to the rim width.

I don't think any reputable tire shop will go wider than 245/70/16 on stock rims.

Now I know my limit with the stock rims. I'm thinking going with the Michelins LTX M/S 2 245/70X16 on the oem rims. Thanks guys your advice was appreciated

I have 245/70 16 on my Pilot and IMHO they are the perfect size.

After 10k on the LTX, I reckon its the best tire I've had on my Pilot.

I've had the Bridgestone Alenzas on for a couple of years. They were great new but now are pretty noisey. I might try the LTX next time.
