Question Anyone had experiance with custom installations on the vehicle?

Hi,
I do not want leather but want rear camera. The dealer offers to install it in the dealership on EX. Is it safe to allow him to install? Is it gonna be the same quality? Anyone had experience with custom installation?

Thanks.

I'd ask them if this is a genuine Honda part and then go from there. How often do they install rear view cameras ? Last but not least that you want it to look like it was installed at the factory.

Doesn't the Honda rear camera require GPS = leather? Can't see a dealer having the experience to do anything special.

I think the dealer would farm this job out to a local car radio/stereo shop to actually do the install.

Why would the rear camera need GPS? I have the EX-L with RES, no GPS but I have the rear camera. Instead of seeing the picture down where the navi would be, it's in the rearview. It actually feels so much more natural.
