Default Farewell!!

Hi all -

Trading in the 2005 (took delivery in Dec 2004) Pilot EX-L for a 2011 Odyssey EX-L.

Nearly 81k miles and no problems... But with 3 kids getting bigger - we realized the minivan was the next step for our family.

Getting a good deal (in line with the USAA "Great" price per their car buying service) - and financing through my credit union for 1.99%.

Wanted to give a shout out to all the Piloteers who helped my wife and I over the past 6 years and this great forum to share ideas.

Moderators - feel free to cancel my account... I'll perhaps see some of you at the Odyssey website: Honda Odyssey Forum : Odyssey Minivan Forums

Thanks again!
Herk

Sounds like a good deal. Good luck with your Odyssey and your family, and thank you for your service.

We'll probably make a similar move some time in the future, maybe when student loans are finally paid off, if we're ever blessed with a third child. Our oldest can buckle herself in, and is this close to being able to unbuckle herself, so we'll be able to make the Pilot work for awhile with her in the 3rd row and #3 in the middle row.

I think I'm leaning toward the new Sienna though. I think I like its looks better and it seems that you get a little more for the money. I was eagerly anticipating the new Quest, but it's just downright ugly. Of course who know what the models will be like when we're ready to buy.

Good luck with the Ody!
