My experience shipping parts to Canada from the US - Honda Pilot

Hey folks,

Just wanted to recap my experience in ordering 4 TPMS sensors from Tim at OEMAcuraParts.com. First, all your comments regarding Tim's exceptional customer service skills are bang on. He knew more than the local Honda dealerships. Highly recommended.

My only concern was the shipping / duty costs to import these sensors to Canada. The local dealerships were asking around $75-$80 CDN. I was looking at around $300-$350 just for sensors! I could have gone with something cheaper from a local discount store, but I was aiming for OEM.

Ordered from Tim instead. So including air shipping ($24) and duty ($20 tax, $5 handling charge), I still saved approx $100 over the dealership. The duty wasn't nearly as scary as I was expecting, making me more open to buying cross-border.

Looking forward to more purchases from my American friends!
