How would I know/find out if a DVD player from a 2005 Honda Pilot will work in a 2003 Honda Pilot? I'm just looking to replace the player that is at the bottom of the front console.... not looking to replace the whole DVD Entertaniment kit.

Compare the PNs for the two units. I'm willing to bet that if they are both Honda branded units, that it will be simple plug and play.

The part numbers are different between '03/'04 and '05 so there's a chance it may not work. Just to be clear, you have an '03 EX-L RES and not a LX/EX with the iVES system right?
