Default Coffee Maker?

Have a 2010 Pilot Touring 4WD. I go up to the snow a lot and want to try to hook up a coffee maker to the outlet inside the car. Has anyone tried this and had success? Having trouble find a coffee maker or water heater that would work with the 110v outlet.

Is it even possible?

Hard if not impossible to find a 115 v coffee maker @100 watts or less. 100 watts is the maximum draw before the Honda 115 outlet shuts off.
"Always run the engine when you use
the AC power outlet.
The maximum capacity for this
power outlet is 115 volt AC at 100
watts or less. If you use an appliance
which requires more than 100 watts,
it automatically stops supplying the
power. If this happens, turn the
ignition switch off and turn it on
again."

There are some 12v Trucker/RV style coffee makers with or without internal DC>AC inverters or you could install a higher wattage DC>AC inverter. (beware of amperage draw limititations on your standard 12v wires)

Nice info on the coffee maker. Since we're talking about wattage...how about the Wii console? I believe the Wii's power adapter is on 110V to 120V and consumes on the average 18-20 watts. Has anyone played Wii on their EX-L RES?

You are good up to 100 watt draw at 115 volts. That easily covers the WII
One thing to note is that some 90 watt chargers for laptops or other high wattage battery chargers may peak occasionally at a higher than a 100 watt draw easpecially if the battery is completely drained. When this happens it could shut off the inverter and quit charging.

Most domestic coffee makers are watt hogs and the stock unit is unlikely to be able to handle the power demand.
