Default Need help...am I getting boned on this valve job?

Long story made short...I bent some valves trying to replace my timing belt by cranking on the crankwheel after the rear cam slipped off TDC..and i failed to recheck before trying to set the belt.
I had the heads removed by a mechanic and he sent them to "a local shop" to have them repaired. No mark-up, he will pass along bill to me and I pay the machine shop. He calls today and says he got the heads back and the bill is shown in attachment.

I was not expecting this much, however my bad for not getting a written estimate.
Is this guy in line or am I getting boned?
I have seen replacement heads on net for $375.
If I am getting screwed I want to call him with as much info as possible and nicely tell him his pricing is a bit high.
If i get pushback I will go from there.
if it looks ok then I will leave it alone.

Thanks for any help from the experts!
