Default Locking rim tool

Hi there, Brand new here. I just bought an 07 Pilot with locking rims that require a special tool to remove one lug nut on each tire. Does anyone know where that tool is stored? I can't find it anywhere, if it is even around. Thanks in advance.........Doug.

Have no idea where the previous owner would have put the key. Maybe head to the dealer. They should have a master set of keys to help you out and order a new key for you as well, good luck.

Try looking in the tool/jack storage cubby behind the third row on the driver's side. I've seen them stuck in there if they're not in the glovebox or center console. GL.

Well I have an '06 but, did our cars come with oem wheel locks? I've seen other pilots in my neighborhood and I didn't notice any wheel locks on their pilots as well.

If you don't see it in the left cubby area where the jack is stored then I'd just head over to the dealership and ask the parts department.

They don't come with locks from the factory, but the dealership I purchased from installs them on every car as part of the PDI. I assume other dealerships do this as well, since the locks probably only cost $10 or so.

I would go back to the dealership and ask them to remove the locks, never know when you might get a flat or blowout and might need the tool to remove the wheel.

The dealer has the master locking lug key. A set of locking lugnuts costs approximately $40 wholesale. If you live in an area where people like to borrow car parts, it's cheap insurance policy.
