Default To purchase Navi or not to purchase Navi

I will be purchasing my first Honda (2011 Pilot EX-L) within 2 weeks. It will serve as my company vehicle incurring approx 20-25K mostly city miles/year. Here are a few questions. Thanks for your thoughts.
Justifying $2K cost for Navi:
-How is the sound quality different from the Aux input (non Navi) vs. USB interface (Navi)? I could charge iPhone via (cig lighter) outlet and use Aux input.
-Is the bluetooth caller sound quality good on both ends? My experience with Ford and Chrysler was subpar especially someone listening to me.
-Are the Honda specific aftermarket bluetooth and iPod interfaces advisable? What's the approx cost with installation?

Any other reason I should think about springing for Navi?
My main use for Navi would be for hands free communications and not necessarily navigating.

On a seperate note, I'm able to purchase EX-L without Navi/RES for
$31,350 including Destination and doc fees, excluding TT&L. Sound like a fair deal??
Thanks!

I think you answered your own question here. If you don't think you're going to use the OEM Navigation for it's primary purpose very often, then it doesn't seem like a value to me. There are plenty of other Bluetooth options out there at a fraction of the cost, and if the technology gets better, you can upgrade an aftermarket BT much easier than an OEM setup.

+1

There are currently no incentives on 2011 Pilots. Invoice on a ex-l 2wd is $31,574 and hold back is $700, so $31,350 sounds like a good deal.
