Default CR-V question.

Hey Everyone,

I am going to the local dealer to look at a couple CR-V's this weekend. I was wondering if anyone has either a 2007 or 2008 EXL and what the differences were between them if any? We currently have a 2009 Pilot Touring & a 2004 civic. the wife wants to upgrade to the CR-V over the civic especially for the AWD as we have pretty crazy winters up here.

Any info would be helpfull.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Ditto on this site. I'm active on it since my wife has a 2008 V, EX-L. No real difference between the 07 and 08 other than the 07 being the first generation and there being some issues with the rear diff. Our 08 is 3yrs old and holding up well.

Just picked up my 2011 Pilot EX-L 4WD yesterday evening to keep it company.

I used to frequent a couple of the CR-V sites as well when we had our '07 CR-V EX-L. Yes, some of the '07's had an issue with the rear differential. There was a recall on it, which I had done on mine and it totally corrected the "shudder" or "growling" issue when backing up and turning. IIRC, the '08 also adds climate control and separate temp controls for driver/passenger.

Jeremy, in my opinion, you will not go wrong with either year.

Good luck!
