I don't know?

Seems strange.

Not even a note about it.

I fear Tim and the store have both been let go.

We might need to get a new site sponsor.

I sent him a message over on Facebook, hoping he responds. His username over there is "Hondacuraworld Tim".

Unhappy Goodbye......

At 9:30 yesterday morning, I was let go from my job.

Seems that the economy was too much for us, and the decision was made to get out of the internet business. It's as much of a shock to me as it is to you, probably moreso.

I'm not sure where to go from here, honestly. Ray was a great guy to work for, for the last 10 years. I'm still at kind of a loss for words, friends.

One thing that I will ask, for those of you that have known me over the years......is a simple letter of recommendation. My email and IM is steelytim71@aol.com, I'd appreciate staying in touch. Bear in mind that as far as parts, prices, who to contact, where's my parts, etc......that I can't be of any help with.

But, hey, I'm still around.....I'd welcome communications on email or on facebook.......just look up Tim Poliniak.

I loves you guys

Ugh, that sucks Tim. It was always a pleasure to work with you for all of my different Honda parts needs - you were always so responsive.

Sorry to hear this news Tim. Your offered the best customer service that I ever got from a Honda Dealer.

Good Luck in your other job search.

Also, purchased a lot as well.

Do you know if the websites going away also?

From all indications, yes. It's the market. People just aren't ordering accessories and parts the way they used to regardless of discount, and my remaining competitors are selling at a loss just to stay in the fray. Many of the remaining customers by and large are just gravitating towards the price.

One major dealer on eBay sold well into five figures online recently, and their net was just over $600......and that's net after cost of goods sold, shipping, and fees.....and not including paying salaries, benefits, or any other expenses.
