RV towing

There is controversy about when Honda officially stopped approving towing a Pilot behind an RV..my 05 manual says it's OK..some say Honda changed their mind and now it's NOT ok...I tow mine as I go by the manual and all is well....so far...
Does anyone know for sure if there were ANY driveline/transmission changes from 04 or 05 to 07 or 08 that would make Honda say it's NOT approved to tow later than 05 any more, or did Honda get tired of warranty repairs on cars that did not follow the pre tow procedures???

The Pilot got the new corporate tranny for the 2006 model year. Honda does not mention towing behind an RV in the manual for the new tranny. It may very well be that Honda got sick of the warranty repairs on vehicles that did not follow the pre tow procedures, but it is now not sanctioned. It also may be that the new tranny can't take it. If you are considering towing any 2006+ model behind an RV, I'd call Honda Corporate first to get their official position on it (and any special procedures required).
