Was the Timing belt service performed before you bought it?

There is no LED strip used as a 3rd BRAKE light for Pilots.

Default Good Mud Flaps for 2013?

New here - I just bought a 2013 EX-L with the little stubby factory mud guards. I live on a dirt road and need real mud guards that come down to within about 4-5" of the road. Can't find any so far at Weather Tech, etc. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tom

Aftermarket Gas Cap - 2007 Pilot. Is it a generic type cap - or does it HAVE to be HONda OEM?

thanks.

Hello:

Replacing the gas cap with a generic one is chancy. Honda keeps track on tank pressure, as well as volume - if the cap dosn't hold the pressure you will get a "check engine" light on the instrument panel.

good luck - Gary Peterson (WB6MAA)

OEM gas cap from Honda is $16.28 + shipping. That's probably cheaper than a generic one at PoopBoys. Part number is 17670-SHJ-A31 or 17670-SHJ-A02 (there are two versions for the same price, doesn't matter which one you order). See #18 in this link: FUEL TANK (2) for 2007 HONDA PILOT

Default Tailgate Struts

Has anyone ever replaced the tailgate struts with ones that give the tailgate more clearance when fully opened (extended)? 2007

Regards,
6'2" and tired of bonking my head, thanks.

Default New 2010 Pilot Touring 4wd owner

Hi, I just traded in my 2011 Forester XT Touring (w/ 9k miles) for a lightly used (13k miles) 2010 Pilot Touring RES 4wd.

I like the Forester, but it was a little to small for our family of three. Handling was pretty good and the turbo'd Forester could get up and go. We only put 9k miles on it in 22 months, so we didn't love it, but it got the job done.

Picked up the Pilot from Seattle Jaguar. We actually met the nice family that traded it in, and they sure babied it. So far the Pilot is a comfortable ride, road noise is so-so, steering feels a bit numb and handling is meh. I really like all the luxury features... however I need to take a college course on working the center console radio/HVAC/nav.

Our other car is a Subaru BRZ, which is now turbocharged so that's the fun car; you can find me at the ft86club forum as BRZranger.

I'm looking for a cargo tray, cargo cover (powered tailgate) and maybe some OEM siderails. Let me know what you got.

Default Pilot 2006 Front wiper fluid sprays, rear does not

My 2006 Pilot wiper fluid sprays fully when I pull the front spray. When I pull the rear wiper spray, it does not spray at all. Instead the front one again sprays at 1/4th rate as the normal front spray. Any ideas what could be going on? I read several posts - some saying there are two reservoirs some saying only one. Have no idea what it might really be, but I have never filled up the rear spray reservoir if one exists.

I would appreciate any help.

Possibly. You have 6.5 feet of cargo space from the rear hatch to the back of the center console. If you can put his head or feet on top of the center console you could probably do it.

Or maybe put the front passenger seat all the way forward.

Default seatbelt beeping sound

In case if seatbelt is not used can seatbelt beeping sound be stopped. It will stop by itself after 18 beeping sets, but can it be stopped by disconnecting a wire or fuse?
