We just purchase a 08 Pilot too because our first baby now she's 10 months, at about 6-8 months she likes watching music video. It really helps keeping her from crying. But you can get an iPad/Tablet if it doesn't have RES. The other thing I really want for our Pilot now is a Side Step/Running Board since my wife is only 5' it's really tuff to get on and off holding the baby also, and with it will save your seat from ripping too when getting off the car without it there's more pressure to the side of the seat, time by time will wear out the cloth/leather and seat may sag too. Also we owned our 08 Pilot about 3 months now, it was a lemon purchase from a Buick GMC dealer. You may consider buying a new 2012 LX instead for around 27-28k otd with 1yr manufacture warranty, and I guess you may already have an iPad/Tablet or should getting one soon, you may even get the dealer to throw in a running board for the deal... you may want to look at a few member here with LX mod up looks better then the Touring/EXL.

I'm a newbie...and just want to get some information about the honda pilot..namely, how good is the gas mileage. I drive in a heavy, stop and go traffic area and want to make sure that I won't be shelling out hundreds of dollars each week on gas...I need good MPGs!

The Pilot is an Aerodynamic brick, does poorly in city stop and go and not bad on open highway for its size and style... YMMV This link has some real world figures on Pilot MPG over the years. Honda Pilot MPG Reports | Fuelly

I usually do short trip 1.5m city, 3m fwy. I get 14-15mpg not heavy foot, max speed is 65mph on fwy... with a little bit of traffic stop and go... I kinda got tired of monitoring the mpg it get so! now I just punch it sometimes, and decided to use the Pilot less often, for road trip and weekend use only not a good daily commute when I have a d16 civic.

I have a 2008 Honda Pilot with RES and 6 disc cd changer in dash (factory radio) It also has XM button but not activated. I want to add a aux input because it doesn't have one. How can I add one, but do it without having to buy an expensive adaptor. It doesn't have to be for an iPod. Please help!
