IMO, I don't think you really need a bigger vehicle. As long as the seats are of reasonable size, and you and your wife don't need to have the front seats slid all the way back, you shouldn't have much of a problem fitting all 3 in the middle row.

See the following threads:

second row too small for carseat?

how to fit 3 carseats in the car

I've had my 2012 EX for less then a month and I'm starting to notice a rattling sound near my driver side window when i go over bumpy roads. anyone have the same problem?

Also i was wondering on getting 22" rims will this affect the ride comfort?

My knees are very close to the dashboard under the steering wheel of my 2010 Touring. I'm only 5 feet tall and have to be that close to reach the pedals. My 01 Odyssey seated me under the dash comfortably. I'm afraid I will really get hurt in an accident, because I only have about 1 inch of room between my knees and the dash. Anyone else notice this problem?

Hi All.

I just got a 2004 Pilot Ex-L 4WD. I would like to have a trailer hitch put on the this car for a bike rack. Can I install it myself or does it require dealer installation?

Default Honda cargo liner, worth $30?

just got an 04 EX-l thats is actually in pretty darn good shape inside and out. i found an add on my local craigslist selling a rarely used, in good shape, honda cargo liner for $30. I've read a bunch of posts on here about the liner some seemed to love it, some hated it and returned it. but for $30 in good shape i'm thinking thats a no brainer right? opinions?

I'm sure it's a great item IF you don't use your 3rd row seats very often.

Got one and never got around to using it. Found the weathertech type of mat far more convenient

DIY, is fine. Make sure you clean out the threads before installing

I use the cargo liner all the time and just flip it up if the 3rd row is needed for short trips, and remove it for long trips. Or you could throw a blanket back there, kinda crumpled up, so things don't move around and also to keep the carpet clean.

Mine is the Honda plastic cargo tray, and not the liner. Sorry for the confusion.

The tray is great of you throw wet and dirty stuff into the rear. Personally, if I were to buy again I'd go for the liner as its a bit easier to deal with.

got a question about my 08 Pilot SE 2WD, on the driver side door there's a small button of the side mirror with 3 arrow up, what's that button do? I tried turn it on and off I don't see any action. did try throw it into Reverse see if the Pilot has the mirror tilt when Reversing, but doesn't seem like it doing anything...

My guess is that's your defroster for the side mirrors. Judging by your location, I'd venture to guess that you'll never have to need to use it.

If its a little button and a light beside it comes on when you press it, then it's probably the outside mirror heater. Very useful, and not just for de-icing the mirror; it de-fogs it too.
