Front license plate bracket install

My wife has had her Redrock EX_L for about 2 weeks now, and she wants to put her KU license plate on the front. We have the frame, but it is not installed. Can I do this myself(how?), or should I have a dealer do it? By the way, we bought it from a dealer about 20 miles away, even though there is one 10 miles away. Will the closer one do it even though it wasn't purchased there?

Takes about 10 minutes to install with the supplied hardware. There's some photo's of the install on this website. Do a search.

NEW 13 Pilot Need to Install Front License plate bracket

Just bought a 13 Pilot. Dealer would not install front bracket for me...go figure. Told me I need to drill into bumper. Directions in the bag with bracket I was told, but none to be found. Did search for the phots of the install on the website here and could not find them. If anyone has a diagram/pdf/video I would greatly appreciate before I go boring holes into a brand new car.

Thanks,

MB

You will find the plastic grill with open honeycombed shapes. In the middle of the grill should be 2 closed up honeycombs smack in the middle above the top of the bumper....you will drill 1/8 holes in the middle of each of those 2. At the bottom middle of the bumper you will find 2 humps where you will drill larger holes that hold 10mm bolts. 2 screws, 2 10mm backing bolts with 2 10 mm machine type thread screws and 4 washers should be part of the front license plate holder. Takes minutes to install. Took me 2 minutes to remove

I can't believe the dealer wouldn't install the bracket for you. That's poor customer service.

That grill looks different from my 2012. Where did you find that? I looked all through the manual and found nothing.

Did not know the year of your vehicle but as you now know Ebay is the place to go.
Should be dimples under the bumper to get you centered correctly.
