Default 2003 EX-Nav, any AUX options besides Casette Adapter?

Hi, newbie from Kentucky. I just got a 2003 Pilot EX-L with Nav. I've skimmed this forum a bit, and I understand that if I want to keep the Nav (which I do), I have to keep the stock stereo head unit. I'm not an audiophile or anything, but the cassette adapter sounds like crap, and I need something else. The EQ with it is terrible, and it's always hissing, no matter what adjustments I make to volume. I don't use an iPod. I go back and forth between Droid and Zune, so something that allows me to use a 3.5mm jack is preferable. My experience with FM tuners in the past has been not so good, but that was years ago, so maybe the tech has improved? Thanks for the help!

A quick search of the forum comes up with these posts:

You can also look at LOGJAM ELECTRONICS.COM - iPod Car Adapters & iPhone Car Adapters for your Vehicle for solutions.

I don't know if your headunit has the Aux button on it, which is key for using some of the solutions.

Welcome to the forum.

Edog did a 2003 w Nav adding every input option using an av electronics set up. Google that name to track it down.

Will look for thread at home where it's bookmarked
