Just wanted to post some useful info. I've always had my Valentine One hard wired to whatever car I've owned and now that I'm a Honda Pilot owner I wanted to do the same. I had a problem finding any useful info online so I figured it out on my own.
I always tap into a 12v power source, a source that powers up when I turn the key, powers down when I shut the car off and is near the rear view mirror. With the 2012 Pilot Touring, it was the purple wire shown in the below picture and you can figure out from where via the pics below. Enjoy! |
