Security system add on power window module
I have an '04 Pilot EX-L and I'm a novice mobile electronics guy, but have never installed a security system. Am currently installing a Compustar Pro with 2 way remote and remote start. The basic parts of the install are going just fine.
But I am also wanting to add a power window roll up module to automatically roll all 4 windows up when armed in case I forget, which does happen from time to time.
The aftermarket module hookup is a no brainer. But the 2004 Pilot specific wires to tap into are becoming problematic. I probed the window switches at all 4 doors, the master 4 switch module in the drivers door, the power window control module in the drivers door, and the pass kick panel MUX unit. I get full voltage directly at each door switch, but when I directly apply 12 volts to the up and down wires, nothing happens.
Anyone have any insight on the '03-'04 Pilot power window system?
