Its nice to have a place to put the ipad for ready reach. Certainly to low to look at while driving, but OK for your navigator.

Looks strong and nice fit. But maybe it is just me, I would love to have iPad mounted a bit higher so I can keep my eyes on the road all the time.

I mount my iPad (3G model, so it comes with GPS) between the dashboard and windshield, and use Google Map live traffic to keep track of the traffic and change route accordingly.

I has really saved me lots of time by beating the traffic commuting.

I use bluetooth tethering to share my smart phone's data plan to my iPad btw.
