My wife has a Samsung Epic cell phone which she has paired to her Hands Free/Bluetooth in our '11 Touring Pilot. Phone works fine when it's paired, except that if she turns her phone off when she's outside the car (restart it, battery dies, etc.) the Hands Free system doesn't recognize it the next time she gets in the car and she has to pair the phone all over again.
She had a HTC Hero before this and never had the issue, even if she turned the phone off the Hands Free system would recognize the phone again when she got back in the car. Any ideas why this happens and what to do to fix it? It's annoying for her to have to pair her phone every few days, and there has to be a way around this. |

Given that you have successfully persistently paired with a different phone, I'm guessing the issue is with the configuration of your wife's phone? Have you tried to pair the phone with any other Bluetooth device and had a similar problem?
