Default Using Sirius Dock and Play with built in XM radio??

Has anyone installed a Sirius dock and play radio in their Pilot which has a factory XM radio? My question is, does the built in XM radio antenna in the pilot have the same connection as the magnet mount Sirius antennas so that if I want to use my Sirius dock and play radio in my Pilot, I can still utilize the built in XM antenna instead of having to install a magnet mount antenna???

I hate the fact that XM does not include Howard Stern and that you have to pay extra for the "premium" package even though XM and Sirius are one in the same now! I also hate the fact that if you have Sirius in another car, you can't take advantage of the multi-radio discount with the XM in the Pilot!

Good Grief!

This doesn't directly answer your question...I upgraded my stereo in my '06 EXL (with OEM XM Radio). I wanted a better HU with Bluetooth. I ended up replacing with a Pioneer HU with Bluetooth. Once I did this, I lost use of my OEM XM Radio. I had to purchase a Pioneer XM Tuner (to go with the Pioneer HU) and I had to install the supplied Pioneer cable with XM Antenna. So I now have two XM Antennas (the factory one and the magnetic antenna that came with my Pioneer XM Tuner) on my roof next to each other - I have been researching the web to see if I can position the Pioneer XM Antenna in the spot where my factory XM Antenna is located - to date I have not been able to get this answered.

There is an adapter to use the factory XM antenna with your Sirius unit. It's not cheap though.

I too am pissed about Sirius XM's divided service plans. I've been a Sirius subscriber since 2005. The fact that I can't use my XM receiver to get Howard without paying more is complete BS. Not to mention that I can't get the multi discount because one unit is Sirius and the other XM. At this point, I'm ready to bail on them completely.
