Default XM Radio deals??? Who's gotten them?

Anyone have any advice for getting XM service cheap? I've already got a Sirius dock and play in my other car which would not be eligible for the multi-radio discount. (I don't feel like putting it in the Pilot which has XM built in.)

Howard Stern is a must for me, so if I had XM, I think I'd have to get the premium package? Unless you can get XM Ala-carte.

Who's got a good solution for activating the XM in the Pilot, but keeping Sirius (or maybe switching to XM dock and play??) in my other car. I only use one car at a time, so I don't really need two subscriptions simultaneously. The dock and play use to work fine as I'd transfer it between two cars.

thanks.

Offtrac...I just want to thank you for posting your attachment. I used it to get one year at $77 without a problem. I have a 2011 EX-L that's coming off the trial subscription so this was very timely. I have lifetime on my RDX and I asked about it for the Pilot but they wanted $699...too much money for me. Thanks again.

I just renewed for one year at last years total price of $124 ( taxes and fees). They wanted to renew at $200 and i called and told them to cancel cause we are in a ressession and i cant justify a 38% increase for the same service as last year. They quickly gave me last years price. Im in Canada, so the deals US 5 month or $77 isnt availble here. I think the cheapest is $102 per year in Canada plus licensing fee plus tax= $124.

Default Renewed yesterday

I have the basic of course bc I usually just listen to my iPod, but I renewed for $27 plus change 6 months just yesterday.

First she offered a plan of $30 for six months so i asked if I could have two of those but but she said they could do only one at a time. Once she completed the transaction she said the charge was going to be for less than $30 Anyways my previous six months was $30 so that's only about $60 per year... Not bad!

I got a related question about XM Radio! I just purchased my 08 Pilot Used, I switch to XM Radio and it works, will I get charge for tuning on to XM Radio on my Pilot? Should I use it while it works?

The previous owner probably had it activated. It will stay on until his subscription runs out. You won't get charged unless you call them to put it in your name. I'd leave things alone and enjoy it until it ceases to work, and then decide if you want to subscribe yourself.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but xm is free for this weekend. I tuned in and my xm was on. They do this several times a year to lure you in. After listening to xm for half an hour , and endless channel surfing, I concluded that xm was not for me. There was a few songs that I liked, but with an ipod of 3000+ songs, it was about the same for me. To each there own.

It's fine with me, since it still kinda noisy from XM Radio not the best quality, since I just got the Pilot haven't got time to burn any CD yet.

Another question! does the Pilot 6 CD Changer recognize MP3 disk format?
