Default RCA jacks on 2011 Pilot EX-L

Does anyone know if the OEM stereo on the '09 - '11 Pilots have RCA jacks? I want to install a new aftermarket amp and upgrade the speakers. Thanks.

You can upgrade your speakers regardless of what head unit you are using but they would sound 100X better amped.

I tried to do a little research and only came up with a 3.5mm aux jack on the back of the radio. Can someone confirm this but I don't believe the factory radio would have rca jacks. In the case that it didn't and you wanted to keep that factory look you can buy a LOC (line output converter) like this one Scosche SLC4 Four-channel line output converter at Crutchfield.com and that will give you the ability to add a 4 channel amp.

The idea behind a LOC is to tap into the factory stereo wiring to provide a input signal to an amp.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I wound up calling Crutchfield and they recommended the same thing. They confirmed that the stock HU does not have RCA jacks. I actually ordered the LOC you posted while surfing on Amazon yesterday. Crutchfield also recommended a MTX - re-Q, but not sure if I want to add another component. It sounds like it is mainly for increasing bass, which I am not too worried about. I don't get into the extra thumping and pounding so I can rattle the cars next to me at the stop light. Just want to improve the sound quality from the factory speakers but keep the stock HU.
