2003 Pilot - radio on, but not working

I have read the posts about the anti theft device light blinking, which mine does when the car is turned off. However it does not say "code" when I turn on the radio. The NAVI works fine too. However, the preset stations start to scan. When I choose a preset station and turn up the volume, the tick marks grow as I turn up the volume, but there isn't any sound.....then, the tick marks start to count down/go away on its own until there isn't any. Occasionally, the sound will come on, but only for a short time. Has anyone seen this or is there a fix? Or has my radio simply gone bad? Thx.
