I recently installed a ipod converter into the back of my stock stereo in my Honda Pilot 2007 EX. I know I installed it correctly b/c when I turn my car on it gets power to my ipod through the converter. However, I cannot toggle on my CD/Tape button to the Aux to play the ipod through the stereo.
I have disconnected the power and speaker lines from the car to the back of the stereo waited 5 minutes and reinserted them, but the CD/Tape button won't go past the CD player to aux. Does anyone know how to get the CD/Tape button to go to auxillary if it currently does not? |

How are you so sure? I wouldn't think it was completely defective if when I turn on the car my ipod light goes on through the converter? Something has to be working to do that, right? Can you give me a little bit more detail of how you know the converter is defective and it's not something on the stereo? I just want to make sure before I send it back.
