Hang on....all of a sudden the sound from two speakers on one side of the car is toast? Bet the rear speaker on that side is also toast...the only reason for that must be the output stage of the HU going bad.

Since you bought a car and expect the stereo to work, I'd go straight back to the shop and get them to agree to replace it. After all if they'd told you about the defect, you would have paid less for the car

i would have went back to the shop but i bought the car off a family friend ..and the rear speaker works perfectly the left speaker is very low you can barely hear it and if i put the voulume up the tweeter in the front sounds really bad... i think its something with the wiring somewhere because i noticed the rear doors dont lock either -_-

The tweeter is just wired in series with the door speaker. So a problem with the wiring of the door speaker will also screw up the tweeter down line. Fix the door speaker and the tweeter will probably work fine again.

I just picked up an '04 also First thing I did was replace the door speakers, pretty easy with the Crutchfield instructions here. I turned the 10 pages into easier to read/open pdf if you want it.

I just picked up these from Amazon they were only $27 a pair, huge improvement
Amazon.com: Pioneer TS-G671M 6 1/2 Amazon.com: Pioneer TS-G671M 6 1/2" 4-Way Speakers (PAIR): Electronics

Next I'll be tackling the subwoofer, then hopefully a new Head Unit with Bluetooth come tax return time. Got my eye on the Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

The speakers that come in the car are actually total crap so if you happen to be pulling covers off to look at them....replace them. It's quite surprising how low quality the speakers that come stock in all Honda products are. Seems like years ago AHM noticed people didn't react badly when they delivered cheap speakers so "voila" speakers were downgraded automatically. Back then they sold speaker upgrades as accessories....and almost none sold.
