Default 2011 Touring RES question

Just got my new 2011 Pilot Touring couple of days back.
I am trying to figure out how can I play only the RES and keep the front speakers shut off. Just can't seem to figure this out.

As soon as I hit the REAR PWR button to turn on the DVD player, the front speakers turn on as well. How can I shut the speakers down and only let the folks in the back watch a movie using head phone?

Do you want to listen to music in the front at the same time? If so, I have no idea. If not, can't you just adjust the fader to the rear?

The Volume control you have does not control headphone volume, so just turn that to zero and let the kids enjoy the movie, while you enjoy peace and quiet.

Understanding the DVD system takes time experience and reading the owners manual.

Default Thx

Thx folks. I think Rocky's solution may be the only one available, even though I don't like it.
