Question Sirius Radio

My 3 month free XM Radio just expired. People at work say Sirius is better. I have received several letters from XM to sign a contract but have not received any offers from Sirius. Does anyone know if Sirius will try to contact me in the near future or will I have to contact them. I figure my bargaining power is better if they contact me first.

Sirius will not contact you as the unit is a XM unit and will only receive select Sirius channels with a XM subscription with the best of Sirius Package. If you want Sirius, you will need to get a Sirius unit and connect it to the stereo.

Thanks for the reply. Shows you how little I know about satellite radio. I did not realize it was specific only to XM.

Sirius and XM merged about 1 year ago. I have Sirius and a lot of the channels are the same. Sirius gives you a lot of options as far as subscriptions. Anything from 50 music channels for $6.99 per month to full subscriptions for $12.99 per month. These might have changed since I subscribed. Check out there web sight for options. I have sirius in my 2007 pilot. I bought a Sirius receiver for $30 and a wireing harness for another $70 and $50 for professional installation. It might be better to get an XM subscription.

I just called XM and had to renew my service. My 3 month trial ended. I asked about the $77 for 1 year for xm everything and they granted it right away, with royalty fee it was $88.78. Their normal 1 year charge is 142.45, so it's a pretty good deal!
