Noob. Just got a 2011 Touring. It's supposed to be able to run different audio sources for the front and the RES at the same time. And it works fine except for one combination - I cannot use the XM radio and the iPod at the same time, in any combination, if that makes sense.
By way of example, I can set the rear source to DVD and the front source to iPod and both sources play fine. Or I could set the rear source to XM radio, and front source to FM radio, everything is fine. Or front to CD and rear to iPod, works fine. But - if I try to set one source to XM radio and the other source to iPod, they won't both run at the same time. What am I missing? |

Someone with a 2011T will probably come back with his or her own input. My initial reaction is to say that the XM and Ipod probably use the same input into the HU (Head unit) and therefore its one or the other, not both.
First gen pilots with res have a similar issue. You cannot use Aux in and Res at the same time.
