That particular sub is not suited for free-air use which is basically the type of environment you have with the stock setup. Many of our members (going back to 2003) have done successful replacements with subs from Infinity, MTX and JL Audio with good results. Just do a search on "custom subwoofer" and you should see a lot of good information on how to seal the area as much as possible.
