Damplifier Pro - Automotive Sound Deadener CLD Vibration damping mat - See what all the fuss is about

it's sound deadener. cuts down vibration from the stereo and road noise. I also dropped the headliner and did the roof but I didn't snap pictures. More pics to come as I make progress

I also should take some pics of the front windows as I had them tinted to 50% (MN legal) to match up with the rear ones

You'll have to let us know the total cost of this install, if you dare to keep track.

RD D9s - $800 x 2 = 1600
RD Heavyweights - $550 X 2 = 1100
DC Power Alternator - $530
Wiring - $190
Alpine Processor - $200 (thanks eBay)
Sound Deadening - $250
Batteries - $750 total
Speakers - $320 so far
Speaker amps - $160 x 2 = $320

= about $5000

I dont want to add any more
I'm hoping to be very competitive in DB Drag bass race 149.9 class. This means I will have to play as close to 149.9 decibels (as recorded on the termlab) without going over, playing music, for a duration of 30 seconds. I will try to find some vids to show what I mean..

Nice build so far... Question, where did you get your high current altenator because I was looking to upgrade my altenator to handle the system I'm building.

Were you able to install the sound deadener on the floor in front of both front seats by taking out each seat and lifting the carpet in that area or did you have to take the center console and rear seats out?

I'd like to install sound deadening on the floor, but can't take all the interior out right now as it's a daily driver. I was thinking about doing the front floor sections for now after seeing your photos.
