Default Dash speaker removal?

Anyone know how to access underneath the front dash? I'm actually experiencing an annoying rattle and can't quite access it by removing the A pillar plastic surrounding piece. I think the rattle is where the top part of the dash meets the main part so i guess i'm just looking for info on removing so I can stick some felt or padding in there. thanks for any info

The cover should simply snap off. You can open your hood. You can look at the fuse box. There can be tool inside the fuses.I also found two screws that hold it at the back corners. When I went to pull on it,I found that there's a lip that goes behind the glove box.It is to remove the bottom half of the dash.

Did you ever figure out where the rattle is coming from?

No i haven't messed with it as it went away with the warmer weather. Now that it's cold out it's back again. After the heats been on for a few minutes it goes away. Weird issue. Maybe i'll try to mess with it in the Spring when it warms up a little bit.

I have the same rattle on the driver side dash speaker of an '06 (I am not sure about the passenger side one). It happens when it is cold and goes away when the dash warms up. The temperature was in the teens last night in Cambridge MA. I was going over the washer board surface on Beacon Street before the car warmed up. The racket was definitely there.

Yeah same thing here. Driver's side rattle in the front left corner of the dash. Very annoying! Funny I actually bought my Pilot in Cambridge at the Honda dealer there. Completely off subject but that place is a terrible dealership.

I remove the entire dashboard panel to access the connections. Fortunately, most dash panels are held in place by just a few screws. Once I've removed them, it's just a matter of carefully pulling off the panel, making sure I don't catch any wires or ducts in the process. You'll find an offset screwdriver or stubby Philips screwdriver useful to get at the screws near the windshield.
