I know that I'm new here, so I hope this doesn't give off to sour of an opinion...
The attachment design of the bezel that goes around the stereo (07 6 disc in dash, no nav, no RSE) is HORRIBLE! I've installed and tinkered on many stereos over the years, and this is the worst design that I've ever seen. I just took the bezel off to check out the back of the radio for iPod options, and it was a nightmare. All but one (top center) of the metal clips came off of the plastic tabs, luckily I found 2 in the little holes and reinstalled them. Then trying to reinstall it, what is up with the driver side? How are physically supposed to get those 3 underhook tabs to hook into the back of the dash, AND get that top left tab to go back into the mounting hole? I just ended up cutting off that top left tab so I could get it back together. I'll probably hit a junk yard and try to find another for a day where I have a little more patience, but come on. So how do you all get the clips off without them popping into the dash? And how do you successfully reinstall the bezel with that tab and those underhook tabs? On a positive note, it looks like I can use this $55 iPod adapter. Anybody used that one? Positives or negatives? [/rant]
