I brought a case of Honda ATF fluid at the local honda dealer for $47.50 + tax and when to the Vavoline instant oil change. They put my Honda ATF into the T-Tech machine and did a full flush. Vavoline charged me $50 dollar for the service, I use up all 12 qt. This is better than fill and flush. IMO cheap insurance. Good luck.

I had the trans flushed just before I sold my 92' Mazda MPV.

The shop will run the engine which in turn slowly pumps trans. fluid through its course. The mechanic will tap into the fluid line that goes into the radiator transmission cooler and pump new fluid in. In theory, this procedure SHOULD remove all old fluid and pump in new.

I paid about $100 and felt it was worth it.

I can't stand to think that a simple fluid drain leaves a bunch of old fluid in the trans. and torque converter...
