Buy any name brand filter.
Change it on schedule.
Find something importtant to worry about!

Like spelling "important" ?

The oil filter is something to think about. Any name brand? Okay, how about Fram?

Please, never use a Fram oil filter in any vehicle!

How many filters does Fram sell a year?

How many have a problem, that was filter related?

It would be much bigger news if it was significant.

As for the spelling/typing, the whole post was not important enough to run spell-check on!

Default worry

If everyone only posted about things we should all be worried about, this entire board would have very few posts. When I took a quick look down through the general discussion board, I didn't see a lot of issues that we should all be worried about. Many were informative and interesting, but not life critical.

I guess, my point is that after 30 years of playing with cars, I have NEVER had an oil filter issue, and I have used PLEANTY of Fram filters.

This Anti-Fram things seems to be a lot of second hand horror stories.

Although, it seems JungleJim, seems to have had a first hand problem.

Red face .......

Ok,Ok,Ok,,,,i thought it would be nice for us all to share information on maintenance, upkeep that sort of thing, and yes if yoy want to use Fram go right ahead my friend but let some of us "choose" to be informed ,it's more fun that way.

p.s. ---FRAM sucks .
