Default Looking for a useable original tire for spare

I want a full size spare to replace the standard donut spare.

I got myself a wheel and now I need a tire for it. Buying new, I can't find anything that is going to cost me much less than 100 bucks once all the odds and ends are accounted for. I've looked at Sam's, Costco and Tire Rack.

Since it's just a spare, does anyone have an original takeoff left over from an upgrade? I'm in the Riverside/Ontario area of Southern California. I'd be willing to buy a tire that has some miles on it as long as it's got even wear and a good amount of tread left on it.

Anyone?

You should be able to go to Goodyear and get an Integrity for $66, plus mounting and balancing. Even if someone sold you a takeoff for $30, shipping would push it close to the $66, unless you find one locally.

Well, I saw someone's post here from over a year ago where they were selling takeoffs for $35 I think, including shipping. I thought that was a pretty good deal, but my hope was that maybe someone near me had something I could pickup.

The cheapest tire I've found so far was the Kumho Venture HT for $65 from Tire Rack. But it's $15 to ship, plus mounting/balancing. At Sam's the cheapest tire is the Dunlop Radial Rover A/T for $82.58 but by the time I pay California state sales tax and $11 for them to mount/balance it, the total comes to 100 bucks.

I see Tire Rack has the Integrety for $66, but that'll turn into about $85 once it's all said and done.

I may end up taking one of these routes, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask here first.

Since it's just the spare, do what I did. Look in the yellow pages under used tires....gotta be several salvage yards in your area....and they buy/sell used tires. I traded my Integritys with 300 miles on them for $100 and a used Cross Terrain (probably had 35-40k on it). The tire is the same size as used on the Explorer, and many people need to put "new" tires on them when their lease is up, so you can probably find some tires with 30-40k on them for $25-30 each.

I still have a Integrity tire, that was taken off. It's only had 150 miles. Let me know if you are interested. I'm in San Jose, so shipping would be reasonable.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I'm interested. If you could decide on how much you'd take for the tire, and weigh the thing, we could find out what it would cost to ship it.

Or how about I make you an offer. I did see someone here offering tires shipped for less, but I'd be willing to pay $50 for you tire shipped to me. Would that be acceptable?
