Can anyone confirm that this is the correct part number for a Napa Gold Oil Filter for the '04 Pilot? The Napa site only has the 2003 choice and I know the engine size is the same, but does it use the same filter?

'03 and '04 oil filter should be the same.

I have never use Napa brand oil filter so I don't know the answer to your question. I'm currently using purolator pure one oil filter and I think they are good, but I prefer Mobil 1 oil filter since I can buy it at a good discount at work($6.25 + tax).

I just changed my oil in our Pilot for the first time -- and am using the NAPA Gold filter. I don't know what the part number is, but the guy at the store told me it was the one (that, and it matched up perfectly with the old one).
I've been using NAPA Gold filters in all of my cars for the last 4 or 5 years now -- no problems or complaints from me. |

I have used NAPA Gold Filters for years, good product. However, I have switched over to Purolator Pure-One, I am leaning more toward the Pure-One in terms of "better" design technology than the NAPA.

I have owned Honda's for years and now have 3. I also have tried and cut apart a lot of different brands. All I can tell you is I will use a NAPA Gold (same thing as WIX), Purolator 1, or a Nippon (makes lot's of OEM car filters.) Before I'll use the new small size Honda filter. If you can find the old Honda filters they were build better, good luck. Get a Hacksaw and cut some open for your self and see the difference.
P.S. Don't waste your time with any Fram, A/C you get what you pay for. |
