Default DIY Cabin Filter Replacement

Because this is so easy and I want people to avoid getting ripped off I am going to do a quick Cabin filter replacement thread.

Tools

8mm socket 1/4 drive
ratchet 1/4 drive
2 inch extention 1/4 drive
philips screw driver #2
utility knife, exacto knife or exacto hobby saw
or air wheel
flat head screw driver

pull the door sill up and off with your hand or use a flat screw driver to pry it up or a butter knife.

cut through the plastic at the pre cut line. use the knives or saw. I use an air wheel being very careful of the wires and the metal support.

What timing! I just ordered the cabin filter on ebay for $20. Should arrive in the next couple of days. The dealer wanted $115 installed.

pull back the plastic from the center console to reveal the last 8mm bolt. Remove this and the metal support will come off easy.

Dont worry you wont break the console its real flexible.

The wires wrapped in yellow tape are for the air bags you want to be careful not to damage them.
