The Owner's Manual tells you to use Honda Filters, Honda Fluids, Honda Gas, etc.

What does everyone really use?
Oil, Oil Filter, VTM Fluid, ATM Fluid, Brake Fluid, Power Steering Fluid, Coolant, Wiper Blades, etc.

So far just Honda stuff. But the minute the car's no longer under warranty, I'll be getting whatever my other mechanic uses.

I use all honda fluids except for the oil 10w30 in summer and 5w20 in the winter castrol only. Yeah I know what your thinking about the oil but I have Hondas the Pilot, 2000 Accord 112.000 mi., 97 Acura 147.000 mi. and have sold an 86 Accord with 220.00 mi. used no oil and ran great. works for me why change. Oil filters I'm using honda but have used Napa Gold, Wix (same thing), Purolator One, and Nippon with good results. As for parts like to stay with factory, except for break pads I use Akebono or Raybestoes Cermic.

I use trans pac parts in my shop. Don the owner is great to work with and if it isnt listed he will find it for you even from a salvage yard. He uses the same parts from the same manufacturer as Honda without the Honda label. Example : NGK spark plugs, Blue PR3 oil filter(the one used on Pilots) without the "H" logo or packaging.

Honda Uses AMsoil from the factory by the way. And some generic bulk companies as well.

If you cant find what you are looking for call them up. Also since Honda likes to use the same system in their other cars most of the parts are interchangable: Odyssey 3.5, Accord 3.5.
