Default Changing Rear Emblem

Only a couple weeks after I bought my '03 Pilot my rear emblem was stolen. I took it to Honda and for like $20 and labor they installed a new one, but it took them a long time to figure out how to disassemble the tailgate to install the new one. When I picked it up they said they'd broken a couple "clips" that hold the center plastic picece to the tailgate, but they "put new ones on free of charge" (I feel so lucky heh)

Now that plastic piece was always a bit loose since then whenever opening the tailgate, but it's always worked fine, however for a long time I'd noticed a squeeking sound coming from the back of the car when driving over bumpy terrain. It wasn't until a road trip yesterday that I finally realized it was the loose plastic piece that's been squeeking all this time.

Now my first reaction (as I know all yours will be) would be to take it back and tell Honda to tighted it up, but I like to know how to do this myself. Have any of you replaced the rear emblem yourselves? Do any of you have pics of this procedure?

I searched but couldn't find any existing threads on this topic, so
any help would be appreciated....
