Using the oil I do, would you guys be as concerned about the 6 months or would you wait till I hit 7500 miles between changes? I have about 5200 on the current oil.

I would say it depends on the driving conditions...you live in the cold so in winters I would change it in six months...but then even of you change it every six months thatsnot a big deal is it ??

I'll be using Mobil 1 also on my next oil change. To answer your question, I would change it which ever comes first, 6 months or 7,500 miles. In my case, I'm in a severe condition and I have to change oil every 3,750 miles or 6 months. But since I've got dino oil right now, I'll change it after 3,000 miles or 3 months.
