Default Live in SW Denver area

I live in the SW Denver metro area. I thought that this Pilot is a typical Honda and has a timing belt that needs to be replaced at 60K. Am I right?

105k, not 60. Thanks to kemosabe and bkwon for scanning/posting and hosting the '03 Owners Manual. It's a good read. I highly recommend it.

Is the Pilot's engine an "interference" type where a timing belt failure (and resultant loss of synchronization) causes the pistons and valves to make contact?

Yes, the Honda 3.5 L engine is the interference type. If you are even remotely considering replacing the timing belt yourself, invest some the money you save and buy (and read) the service manual before you start.

I thought the timing belt did not have to be done until 105k.

Is anyone even near that? I probably would not do the accessory drive belt until that time either.
